Qatar unveils women’s national volleyball team

The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has unveiled the national women’s team, which is preparing to participate in the international competitions in the year 2021/2022.

The QVA said these players will be the nucleus of the first Qatari women’s volleyball team that will participate in the 2030 Asian Games in Doha.

The technical staff of the national teams in the QVA supervises the training of the 60 women players, perform their training three times a week for two hours in the QVA hall.

The technical staff of the national teams is working to establish women’s teams to keep pace with the progress and global status reached in beach and indoor volleyball in Qatar and to encourage girls to play volleyball. 

QVA board member Sarah Khaled alMisnad is the head of the women’s committee at the Qatar Volley ball Association.
