Award-winning documentary filmmaker with a BSc and MA in Communications, Media and Culture. Previously a columnist at the New Arab and currently a lecturer at Qatar University, specialising in social media in the Gulf Region. Featured publications: Qatar Realm of the Possible, 2013 and Qatar Success Stories: Inspiring Women, 2014.

During his illustrious TV career, presenter Rhodri Williams has launched five new ventures: From live magazine programme Heno in his native Wales, to Live TV (the UK’s first 24 hour Cable Network, Channel 5 and Sky Sports News in the UK, and the Alkass QSL/ QNB Stars league and Alkass International Cup Tournament in English here in Qatar; he has been in the vanguard of bold, ambitious new TV projects. He now brings his experience and expertise to an exciting new digital platform building up to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

Caitlin is a digital content creator, whose expertise encompasses digital, print and social media output. Prior to joining Alkass, she worked in Qatar’s PR sector, covering some of the nation’s most high-profile sporting events. Caitlin has lived in Qatar for most of her life, and is deeply familiar with local customs and culture. She is also an avid Liverpool FC supporter, but does not let that get in the way of her work.

Adnan handles the social media accounts and designs the graphics. Adnan’s giant appetite for work means he is also a key member of the team, covering the weekly events and producing and posting a variety of original content. Adnan is graduate of Zarqa Private University in Jordan, and has 8 years experience in Graphic Design and Social media. Adnan has two Nicknames; Question Mark and/or Akhtaput.

Shaden Wahdan, an alumna of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Media and Integrated Marketing Communications. The world of sports and athleticism has always been a major influence in Shaden’s life. Shaden is a former Olympic gymnast who competed for Qatar’s National Team. Since retiring, sport has remained ingrained in her life. After completing an extended internship at ESPN while a university student Shaden then secured a job for one of the major sports networks in Qatar; Alkass Sports Channels. Shaden has a broad knowledge of sport in Qatar and she brings unique qualities to Alkass Digital.

Salim is a Digital Producer and Editor at Alkass Digital with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. He is skilled in Interpreting, Podcasting, Public Speaking, Media Relations, and Social Media. Salim is a Strong media and communication professional and hosts is own Radio Show; he’ll be launching an edgy Sports Podcast on Alkass Digital very soon. Salim also has a Private Pilot’s Licence and is a very passionate football fan with a very deep knowledge of the beautiful game

Saad is a 23 year old Qatari national, and a graduate of Media, Culture and Communications BA(Hons) from the University of Sunderland. The nature of his degree makes him suitable for journalism, media, marketing, social media, public relations, organizational communications and advertising, which are all the skills required at Alkass Digital. Saad started working with a PR and Marketing company Socialite as their Social Media Content Creator and Curator. Saad used to freelance for the Porsche Club Qatar and Nine Seven Four Events as their Social Media Content Creator and Social Media Marketer. Saad also has experience with being an Admin Assistant at Qatargas medical centre. He is a dynamic digital producer and is key to helping the platform evolve

Lolowa Al-Meghaiseeb is a graduate of Leeds Beckett University in Media, Communications, and Culture. Lolowa is an expert Social Media Analyst and is another dynamic member of the Alkass Digital Team who’s mind is bursting with ideas. Lolowa grew up in a family of sports fanatics and her father Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Mehghaiseeb is a legendary footballer and now an Ambassador. Lolowa has certainly inherited all his diplomatic skills as she plays a key role in helping this team develop as a strong unit performing to its maximum potential.
