The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited the headquarters of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 headquarters at the Doha Exhibition Center in Al Qassar on Monday, November 14, 2022.
The Amir was briefed on the Operations Center of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the main operations command center for the hosting country, and on the preparations and measures taken to ensure the achievement of the highest international standards in coordination and follow-up for the global sporting event.
His Highness met with a number of senior officials from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and FIFA.
During the visit, the Amir was accompanied by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HE Gianni Infantino, FIFA President and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
