Al Duhail are back-to-back league champions as they were officially crowned champions of the 2021/22 Men's Handball League after its victory over Al Arabi 35-27, at the end of the eighteenth and final round of the league.
Al Duhail raised its tally with the victory to 48 points in first place, while Al Wakrah came in second with 45 points, Al Rayyan ranked third with 44 points.
President of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA), Ahmed Al Shaabi handed over the league shield to Al Duhail's captain Ahmed Maddi, while Secretary-General Mohamed Al Mulla awarded the team with gold medals.
Member of the Association's Board of Directors Hamad Al Nuaimi awarded Al Wakrah (Runner-up) with silver medals and Al Rayyan (Third) with bronze medals.
This is the fourth time that Al Duhail wins the Men's Handball General League title, with the first title win going back to the 2012/2013 season, the second in the 2017/2018 season, and the third in the 2020/21 season.
