Qatar SC are crowned champions of the HH The Amir Table Tennis Cup

Qatar SC won the title of HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup for the 2020-2021 season after defeating Al Arabi 3-2 in the final match of the tournament which was held Tuesday at Abdullah bin Suhaim Hall in Qatar Club.

This is the fourth time in a row and the fifth in its history that Qatar SC has won HH the Amir's Table Tennis Cup, after winning the 2001-2002, 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.

President of the Qatar and Arab Table Tennis Association, First Vice-President of the International and Asian Federations Khalil Ahmed Al Mohannadi crowned the winners where Qatar SC took first place, while Al Arabi took second place, and Al Sadd Club came in third place and won the bronze medal after beating Al Rayyan 3-1 in the match for the third and fourth places.

Al Mohannadi, in a press statement on this occasion, expressed his happiness for the distinctive picture that emerged from the final match of HH the Amirs Table Tennis Cup, stressing that the final was the conclusion of the 2020-2021 sports season.

For his part, the head of the table tennis apparatus at Qatar SC, Khaled Al Kuwari, expressed his happiness for his team's victory and winning the Cup after defeating Al Arabi in the final match.

Qatar Club player Ahmed Khalil Al Mohannadi said that his team deserve the winning of the title after a strong and big match against Al Arabi, pointing out that the team achieved gold medal in the doubles category in the combined Arab championship held recently in Jordan, and a silver medal in the Arab Clubs Championship in Jordan as well, in addition to the local trio, the Federation Cup, the League, and the title of HH the Amirs Table Tennis Cup.
