Katara is hosting the first edition of its Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF), a world-class event held under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. KIAHF is the largest equestrian sporting event hosted by Katara. The highlight of the five-day festival is the Title Show for purebred Arabians with total prize money of QAR 13,000,000. KIAHF plays a key role in encouraging owners of purebred Arabians in Qatar to improve their breeding programs and nurture the beauty of the breed.
Standards of integrity and fairness will be upheld during KIAHF, in accordance with the standards and rules set by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO). Judges and officials were provided with training to ensure fair play and the humane treatment of the horses during the shows

This is the first time the premier show is being hosted at Katara Cultural Village, as KIAHF offers visitors a delightful experience by showcasing the Qatari spirit and tradition and presenting various cultural and educational activities.

- Live Painting on Cubes
- Food and beverage stalls
- Kiosks for Equestrian accessories, medical supplies for horses, and souvenirs
- Al Aseel Exhibition by Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulaziz Al Thani (Building 47)
- Exhibition by the Polish Embassy (Building 19, Hall 2)
- Light show by the esplanade and amphitheater.
