Spaniard Felix Sanchez, coach of the Qatari national football team, revealed his ambitions to compete for the title of the tenth edition of the FIFA Arab Cup (Qatar 2021), which begins on Nov.30 and will continue until Dec.18, with the participation of 16 teams. 

Sanchez added, in statements on the sidelines of the Qatari team's training camp in the Spanish city of Marbella, that the aspirations revolve around providing a performance worthy of the reputation of the Qatari team, the Asian champion, and all ambitions focus on competing for the Arab title in the tournament, which all eyes are turning to less than a year before the start of the FIFA World Cup (Qatar 2022). 

He affirmed the national team's full readiness for the tournament, through the many matches it had recently played, the most recent of which was the European qualifiers. 

Speaking about the Arab Cup, Sanchez said that as always, the Qatar team want to play a good role so that everyone will be proud of it, the team will strive to compete for the title, adding that the competition will be difficult because all participating teams are keen to win the title. 

The coach of the national team had announced the list of players that will participate in the FIFA Arab Cup (Qatar 2021), and it included 23 players, who are: Saad Al Sheeb - Youssef Hassan - Mishaal Barshim - Pedro - Abdel Karim Hassan - Mohamed Waad - Tariq Salman - Abdel Aziz Hatem - Ahmed Alaa - Ali Asad - Mohammed Muntari - Hassan Al Haydos - Akram Afif - Karim Boudiaf - Mosab Khader - Hammam Al Amin - Bassam Al Rawi - Boualem Khoukhi - Ismail Muhammad - Khaled Mounir - Al Moez Ali - Abdullah Al Ahraq - Asim Madibo.
