Local Horse Racing Competitions Kick Off Wednesday

The Racing and Equestrian Club will start Wednesday the local horse races by holding the first race of the new season 2021-2022, which will be hosted by the sand track in Al Rayyan and includes 8 runs, the last of which is dedicated to the Al Ghariya Cup for purebred horses-females only (Class 2) for a distance of 1200 meters.

Participating in the eighth main 7 horses are: (Bint Saffian) owned by Azraq Stable, (Brelades Bay) owned by Hamad bin Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, (Ghali Althman) owned by Noura Racing Limited, and (Hillside Dream) owned by Shaheen bin Khalid Shaheen Ghanem Al Ghanim, (Al Thumama Line) owned by Al Thumama Racing, (Blueberry Faygo) owned by Mohammed Nasser Rashid Al Ramzani Al Nuaimi, and (Unbutton) owned by Khalifa bin Shuail bin Khalifa Al Kuwari.

In the rest of the races, the first will be allocated to the novice purebred horses (class 6) for a distance of 1700 meters, the second for the purebred horses of local production (novices) for a distance of 1200 meters, the third for the purebred Arabian horses of the novice for (females only) for a distance of 1200 meters, the fourth for the novice purebred Arabian horses and the winner of a race of 1200 meters, the fifth for the purebred horses of the novice and the winner of a race of 1200 meters, the sixth for the purebred Arabian horses - equivalence for a distance of 1700 meters, and the seventh for the purebred hybrid horses weight for age (class 2) for a distance of 1700 meters.
