The Qatari volleyball team defeated India on Monday in three sets (25-20, 25-14, 25-22) in their second match within Group A competitions of the 21st Asian Senior Men's Volleyball Championships, which is currently being held in the Japanese city of Chiba and will continue until Sept. 19.
The Qatari team lost the first match against hosts Japan 0-3. Al Annabi will face Bahrain on Tuesday for their final match in the group stage.
Sixteen teams are participating in the Championships, divided into 4 groups as follows:
Group A: Qatar, Japan, India, Bahrain.
Group B: Iran, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Thailand.
Group C: Australia, China, Sri Lanka, Kuwait.
Group D: South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia.
