Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer extended his contract until 2024 with an optional extra year, the Premier League club announced.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer initially took the helm as an interim coach in December 2018 to replace Jose Mourinho, but then signed a long-term contract.
"Everyone knows the feeling I have for this club, and I am delighted to have signed this new contract," Solskjaer said in a statement.
"It is an exciting time for Manchester United, we have built a squad with a good balance of youth and experienced players that are hungry for success," he added.
Last season, the Norwegian guided United to a second-place finish in the league as well as the Europa League final, where they lost to Villarreal on penalties.
The announcement comes a day after the signing of British young midfielder Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
