Defending champions Al Arabi and former winners Al Duhail will leave for Jeddah today to take part in the 23rd Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship, starting on Saturday.

The tournament, which will conclude on June 21, will see 11 clubs - divided into two groups - in action.

Qatar’s Al Arabi defeated Al Wehda of Saudi Arabia 21-19 in last edition’s final.

Al Arabi are taking part in the event as tournament champions of the Qatar Handball League, and Al Duhail as the champions of 2019-2020 Amir Cup.

Qatar’s Al Sadd, who have won the event five times, are the most decorated team in event’s history.
