President of Qatar Handball Association Ahmed Al Shaabi praised the high performance levels in the 2020-2021 sports season competitions, which ended Saturday evening with Al Arabi winning the title of HH the Amir Cup after defeating Al Rayyan 30-27.
In remarks following the final of the Amir Handball Cup, Al Shaabi said that the match lived up to the level of the event, noting that Al Arabi deserved the win for their good performance, while Al Rayyan was a strong competitor until the last moments of the game.
He added that Al Arabi's victory of the title of HH the Amir Cup for the second time in its history, and the achievement of their second title this season after winning Qatar Cup recently, were the fruits of their great work and effort by those in charge of the team, in addition to the support provided by the Club's management, which contributed to achieving excellence and championships during the last three seasons.
Al Shaabi extended thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this sports season, noting that it was a very distinguished season and achieved great success.
