Teams enter the “health bubble” for the 2021 Doha Beach Volleyball Cup

The local organizing committee for the Doha Beach Volleyball Cup 2021 with a one-star category organized by the Qatar Volleyball Association has increased its preparations for the start of the competitions from tomorrow and will continue until next Friday.

Doha began to receive the teams participating in the tournament, led by Lebanon, Poland, Russia and America, as those teams entered the medical bubble allocated to them in the Ezdan Hotel West Bay, in preparation for the tournament, which witnesses the participation of 15 countries representing 26 teams. The competitions will be held. On the beach volleyball courts of Al Gharafa Club.

The teams were received upon their arrival at Hamad International Airport, where the medical swab was conducted for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and then went directly to the residence hotel, from which the teams entered the “health bubble” until the end of their career in the world championship.

The precautionary measures taken by either the Ministry of Public Health or the International Beach Volleyball Federation will be implemented in accordance with the approved medical protocol, including the obligation to wear masks, sterilize the stadium and balls before holding training and matches, in addition to highlighting the application of precaution before entering the stadium, and maintaining social distancing.
