Australian top-goal scorer Tim Cahill was announced this morning as a
Supreme Committee Ambassador, joining the likes of Barcelona legend Xavi
Hernandez and the most internationally-capped Brazilian footballer of all time,
Cafu.
In his first activation as an ambassador, Cahill coached a
workshop for school children at Doha’s Aspire Academy alongside the SC’s CSR
programme, Generation Amazing.
Recognising the importance of youth football, Cahill also
announced he would be part of Aspire Academy’s coaching team in the upcoming
Alkass International Cup, set to begin on this Thursday.
