The provisional 2025 FIM MotoGP World Championship calendar has been announced, featuring 22 races spanning 18 countries and five continents. Qatar's Lusail International Circuit will host its race on April 13, 2025, following Ramadan, just ahead of the European leg.
According to the official release, "following pre-season testing at Sepang and Buriram, the Thai Grand Prix will become the first Southeast Asian season opener in 25 years—and Thailand's first ever. After a brief break, MotoGP returns to Argentina’s Termas de Rio Hondo and Austin's Circuit of the Americas."
Next up is Qatar, followed by Jerez, and then Le Mans, where the French GP aims to set another attendance record. Notably, the British GP at Silverstone moves to late May, with the Aragon GP following two weeks later in its new slot. The 2025 calendar is designed to give fans the best MotoGP action globally while efficiently balancing social and economic factors for maximum impact.
