The Ministry of Sports and Youth participated in in the 39th meeting of the undersecretaries of the GCC ministries of youth and sports that was held on Wednesday in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth Abdulrahman bin Musallam Al Dosari represented the State of Qatar in the meeting, which came in preparation for the upcoming 36th meeting of the committee of ministers of Youth and Sports in the GCC states.
During the meeting, several topics related to sports and youth fields were discussed, including plans of the relevant ministries in GCC states to develop and promote the joint gulf action to advance youth sector.
A wide range of critical recommendations were also discussed in this framework, in addition to discussing the decision issued by the esteemed supreme council in its 43th session held in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last year, pertaining to the advisory body's plans dedicated to enhancing the joint action in the area of digital transformation and modern technologies, as well as other topics that were discussed during the meeting.
