Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League (QSL), stated that the National Sport Day (NSD), marked annually on the second Tuesday of February, is an ideal and great opportunity to enhance the value of sports culture among all members of the society – men, women, youth, children alike.
On the occasion, he said, “We look forward to sports being part of everyone’s daily programme as it helps build a healthy society. The NSD is a wonderful initiative that brings the country together through sports, very much in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
On dedicating a day to practise sports, the QSL CEO said, “This approach on the part of our beloved country clearly affirms Qatar’s interest in the importance of the role of sports in society and the life of individuals.
“I hope that this day will see renewed activities and be motivation for everyone, so they maintain daily exercise throughout the year because sports, as is well-known, maintains vitality and activity.”
