Argentina meet Australia tonight at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, in the round of 16.
Argentina are a favourite to win the tournament, but they have had a couple of surprises during this year’s World Cup that taught them to not underestimate the underdog.
Argentina suffered one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history during their opening game, where they lost 2-1 to Saudi Arabia.
Australia, ranked 35 places below Argentina by FIFA, however, have already exceeded expectations in winning twice to earn their place at the round of 16, for one of the biggest games in their footballing history.
This will also be Lionel Messi’s fifth and last World Cup appearance, making it his last pursuit of lifting the trophy.
