The second Group G match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 sees Brazil take on Serbia at Lusail Stadium.

Brazil are the most successful national team in the history of the World Cup, having won five times, earning second-place, third-place, and fourth-place finishes twice each and yet again, Brazil enter this year’s edition as favourites.

Brazil and Serbia meet in the group stages of the World Cup for the second consecutive edition.

The 2018 tournament in Russia was only Serbia’s second-ever appearance in the World Cup, however, they’ve made a lot of changes since their last appearance; with their current squad more equipped to handle pressure.

Brazil enter Qatar 2022 in all-star form and are yet to lose a game since the Copa America final loss to Argentina last year. They have scored a stunning 18 goals in their last five games. Serbia have won four of their last five games, scoring 14 goals in them.

Brazil are the only national team to make an appearance at every World Cup, since the tournament began in 1930.

Kick-off is at 22:00 Doha time.
