Denmark v Tunisia Preview

Today at 16:00 Doha time, Denmark will take on Tunisia for the opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group D fixture. Denmark are favourite to advance out of the group stage, along with Frace.

With that being said, both teams are looking for group advantage before France and Australia face-off later in the day.

Denmark have won an impressive four out of five FIFA World Cup opening matches. Kasper Hjulmand’s team also had an impressive qualifying campaign, where they finished top of Group F after securing 27 points from their 10 matches.

Tunisia are making their second consecutive World Cup appearance, after ending their eight-year-absence back in 2018. However, Tunisia have only lost one out of their last nine matches, which says a lot about their current form.

The match will be held at Education City Stadium.

Players to watch out for include Denmark’s Christian Eriksen and Tunisia’s Issam Jebali.

Denmark line-up: Schmeichel; Andersen, Kjaer, Christensen, Kristensen, Maehle; Hojbjerg, Delaney, Eriksen; Olsen, Dolberg,

Tunisia line-up: Dahmen, Abdi, Talbi, Meriah, Bronn, Draeger, Laidouni, Skhiri, Slimane, Msakni, Jembali
