The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated on Sunday morning in the Executive Summit of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), chaired by HE President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, at Fairmont Doha Hotel.
At the beginning of the summit, a film recounting glimpses of the history of the FIFA World Cup tournaments was shown, after which HE President of FIFA Gianni Infantino delivered a speech where he welcomed the attendees and congratulated Qatar at the beginning of the tournament approaches.
HH the Amir delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendance of FIFA officials, heads of national football federations and legends of the game, wishing them success in the work of the summit.
After that, HH the Amir received a souvenir from HE President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, on the occasion of the summit.
The summit was attended by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in addition to several senior officials in the country and national football federations.
