DREAMA children send messages of support ahead of Al Annabi World Cup debut

Qatar Football Association

In a show of support before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, children of the orphan care centre Dreama presented a maroon shirt bearing the centre’s name and fingerprints of its residents, to the His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, president of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), and Hassan Al-Haydos, captain of the Qatar national team. They also handed over messages of love and support to the national team players, as part of an initiative jointly organised by Dreama and the QFA.

The initiative won the admiration and approval of the players, and the children of Dreama conveyed their support and encouragement for the Annabi stars, ahead of their participation at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. With this historic football event taking place in our beloved country Qatar, the children expressed their hope that our team will be successful in all the matches.

The children of Dreama have always been actively involved in initiatives that establish and denote their full integration into society and their involvement in the activities organised by the state. The center’s message is effectively translated on the ground in cooperation with all partners, including the QFA.

The Dreama Center for Orphan Care was established as a place that ensured care for our orphaned sons and daughters in Qatar in the year 2002, with the aim of contributing towards providing the necessary care for this group in society, ensuring their stability in alternative foster families, integrating them into society, and educating society about the importance of embracing them.

The center has been operating since 2013 under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which in turn is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family.
